Easily create an app icon for your mobile app

Creating good looking app icons for your mobile applications can be challenging without the right tools to create them with rounded corners, shadows, and subtle gradients.

Roman Nurik is a designer and developer working on the Google Design team and has created a variety of easy to use tools for Android developers, many of these tools aren't particularly useful for App Inventor but some of them make tasks like creating an app icon as simple as picking an icon and colour and downloading the finished product.

As you can see from the screenshot above the interface is extremely easy to use, you can select an icon from Googles design library, change the colours, and there are even options to customise the type if icon for example square, circle, rectangle .etc

If you have your own logo or icon you can upload it and use it on your app icon with ease, there is also the option to put text on your icon with a custom Google Font if you prefer an icon with text instead.
